It is known that VH-AGG and VH-AGO were the only Adastra Ansons to feature oval cabin windows. Given that VH-AGG was Unit No 2, this Anson which is marked as Unit No 3, must be VH-AGO. Noting that the aeroplane is completely minus cowls, it is possible that this photo was taken at Ballarat in 1946 where VH-AGO is known to have been converted to Oxford cowls.Photo: Allan Yee
