TONY

This young lad identified only as Tony poses with Hudson VH-AGX at Mackay in September 1966.
The caption on the reverse of the photograph reads:

"Sept '66 / Mackay. Tony was a px for perhaps a week with us in Mackay and he flew home TAA. We arrived on 08/09/66 and just sixteen days later, Ken Rowlands went in at TC."

The caption implies that Tony had travelled as a passenger (px) on the Hudson. Ken Rowlands was the pilot of Hudson VH-AGE which crashed at Tennant Creek on 24 September 1966 with the loss of all on board. Did young Tony go on to enjoy a career in aviation? We don't know but it would be nice if he were to see this and let us know how his life turned out.
