Memo
to all Aircrew from A.E. McKenzie, Operations Manager, Sepal Pty
Ltd: "As a matter of business policy, it has been decided to
group all aircrew and aircraft under Sepal Pty. Ltd., as operating
company. You are advised therefore, that henceforth you are an employee
of Sepal Pty. Ltd., and all correspondence reference employment
or personal matters should be addressed to this Company. No changes
in employment conditions are contemplated at this juncture."
The memo goes on to discuss insurance and Retirement Benefit Fund
matters. It also states that: "Aircraft maintenence remains
under the control of Adastra Airways Pty. Ltd., and will continue
to be carried out by that Company." The memo concludes: "The
above changes are made retrospective to 1st July, 1961." View

Application
to DCA for Airwork Licence in the name of Westralian Air Surveys
Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of Adastra Airways Pty Ltd. Nominated equipment
is a DC-3 owned by Adastra and configured for 2 crew and 7 passengers.
The aircraft will be serviced by Rex Aviation at Perth-Maylands.
Note that the application specifies Westralian Air Surveys although
it was painted on DC-3 VH-AGU and Hudson VH-AGS as Westralian Aerial
Surveys. This was doubtless to minimise repainting of the existing
Adastra Aerial Surveys titles. Note that Hudson VH-AGS carried Westralian
Aerial Surveys titles when it arrived in Perth on 29MAY59. |
