Anson
VH-AGG photographed at Mascot in October 1945 prior to departing on
the Victoria contract. Note that the company emblem appears on the rudder
of the Anson. Not only is this the best photo of Anson VH-AGG to emerge
thus far, but it also brings the revelation that VH-AGG also had round
cabin windows. This feature was previously thought to be unique to VH-AGO
and therefore it has been necessary to reappraise several photographs
of Ansons which had been identified on this mistaken premise.
