Hudson VH-AGX on the ramp outside Hangar 13 at Mascot. VH-AGX was test-flown at Mascot on 12 October 1959 after a renewal of its Certificate of Airworthiness. The next day the aircraft commenced a period of local drogue towing so, given the overall cleanliness of the aircraft, it is possible that this photograph was taken during this period. Note that the aircraft is fitted with a target towing winch in the aft most window just forward of the cabin door. The aircraft also carries red registration and cowling embellishments. The identity of the person sunbaking on the grass is unknown! Photo: Ron Cuskelly Collection (AI362)
