Application to DCA for Airwork Licence in the name of Westralian Air Surveys Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of Adastra Airways Pty Ltd. Nominated equipment is a DC-3 owned by Adastra and configured for 2 crew and 7 passengers. The aircraft will be serviced by Rex Aviation at Perth-Maylands. Note that the application specifies Westralian Air Surveys although it was painted on DC-3 VH-AGU and Hudson VH-AGS as Westralian Aerial Surveys. This was doubtless to minimise repainting of the existing Adastra Aerial Surveys titles. Note that Hudson VH-AGS carried Westralian Aerial Surveys titles when it arrived in Perth on 29MAY59.
